I will begin with Phase I. How The Clinton machine made sure to clear the DNC field of candidates and then made sure to limit exposure to Clinton by limiting debates fro 27 to 6.

It was her turn, she was owed the nomination. First you infiltrate the DNC with puppets such as
Debbie Waserman and you silence anyone who poses a threat to Hillary such as Tulsi Gabbard who dared question why the debate schedule was down to 6.

Sanders warned about propping up HRC. He was right, the Clinton fatigue/apathy politics as usual candidate sank the DNC.

"We do not need more establishment politics or establishment economics,' Sanders said during a speech, hinting that a Clinton nomination could lead to the sort of voter apathy that sank Democrats during the 2014 midterm congressional election."

She has "cleared the field." That's what the smart people say. Without even announcing that she will run for president, Hillary Clinton has frozen the Democratic primary process. She has frozen the media's attention and the energies of the party's activists, and, most important of all, she has frozen the wallets of all the big donors, all of whom are waiting for her to jump to decide what they will be doing over the next two years

Clinton was a better candidate than Bernie, especially on positions, which is why she won the Democrat primaries by a solid margin in actual votes. Plus how depressing would it have been to have to have a general election in the US, a country that defeated Fascism and Socialism, where the two choices are down to a Fascist and a Socialist? At least we had a chance to keep the US as a middle of the road prosperous Capitalist country, with a decent safety net, even if Trump Trash blew that chance for us all.

Better? She couldn't win but all indicators showed Bernie did better than she did against most republicans including Trump. Hats off to the "better" loser.

Unsubstantiated assertion about pure speculation.

The reasons Trump won have nothing to do with rationality. He's just an astounding con man who captured the imaginations of too many Americans.

Republicans still trying to blame everybody but themselves for Trump's win, pathetic.

Yeh, by 3.7M primary votes.

Tedious concern trolling is tedious.

Take California out of the equation. What would be the popular vote count? We do not live in the United states of California.

Bottom line the capture of the DNC by the Clinton machine resulted in an implosion costing them not only the whitehouse but supreme court justice slots and more.

She was the wrong pick at the wrong time. What was the deal as well with the media already counting the superdelegates right from day one as if they already chose Clinton?** Instead of reporting just the delegate count and leaving the superdelegate count as to early to call?

**Actually they were in the bag for HRC from day one as part of the clearing of the field to insure a successful anointment. (On the otherhand the media reporting them from day 1 as already voting for her I suspect was part of the deal to demoralize Sanders movement.)

In 4 years, they'll say "Well, if you guys had run a better candidate we wouldn't be in this mess." It'll be like blaming Barney Frank for the housing bubble.

Some of you really should read the Esquire article. It is eerily predictive and accurate given when it was written, before either Sanders or Trump entered the field

I clearly referenced Clinton's win over Sanders in the Democratic primaries, not the general election at all.

No matter where we live, we're all Americans & we should all have an equal voice in electing our president.

Housing bubble no. Mismanagement of Fannie and Freddie in response to it. Absolutely.

From the DNC you are hearing angry voices about the whole Clinton machine. It has been obvious for sometime that they captured the DNC apparatus to ill effect. Hopefully her influence is finally purged from the DNC.

"Why should we trust you as chair to lead us through this?" he said, according to HuffPo's Jennifer Bendery. He went on to accuse Brazile of having "backed a flawed candidate," Hillary Clinton, and having "plotted through this to support your own gain and yourself."

Let us overlook the fact that the rest of the entire world outside of Putin and Kim Jong Un believe that Trump will not have be a better President than Clinton. But hey I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Republicans were also the only people on the planet who still think global warming isn't being caused by man.

It is the Dems fault Trump was elected......even Trump supporters will be saying this in 4 years. Things are never their fault.
Remember when Mitch McConnell blamed Obama for not objecting strongly enough to the bill he said he'd veto, he vetoed, and then Mitch led the override of his veto when Mitch later realized it was a bad bill?

Also, I get real the fuck tired of Bernie Bros. I voted Bernie in the primary, as time went on it became evident that he had a large group of supporters that were just as bad and ignorant as Trump followers. The public would never have voted for Bernie because there is still that irrational fear of the word "socialism".
