yahh easy linus....guys new here, you might drive him off with stuff like that. It seems it was only an honest post here in video asking of our opinion on the gfx.
 
its not the effects that are important. its the resolution. a 6600gt (very cheap card. previos gens mid range) can do any effect the 7900gtx( very expensive card. this gen high end) can but it will do them all at much lower resolution to be playable.
