How stupid is this?

I was riding home with some friends for the weekend, and going down I-26 about 80 mph, then all of the sudden every thing stops, people come screeching to a stop. People where riding off the road to avoid other people. Then when we get to the cars causing the trouble, by driving around in the other lane, some people went off road; it was just two cars bumpers about 2 feet about. No damage to either car, and a guy was standing in the other lane talking to the guy in the car.

Mind you this is at about 8 pm.

it seems like every time ther'es a traffic jam in buffalo it's because there's an accident and every dumb ass wants to see what's going on

I am glad that most people were paying attention to the road, would of only taken one person not paying attention to kill that dumb @$$ standing in the road, and probably a lot of other people in their car.

I could be wrong but I thought there was a law in most state saying you can't stop on an interstate for no reason at all.
