Hi there,
I upgraded my videocard drivers yesterday, after reinstalling my OS... and I downloaded the most recent nVidia drivers for my ASUS v7700 Deluxe card, which is a Geforce2 GTS.
Lo and behold, the installation aborts with a message like "No compatible hardware found". This happened repeatedly, since I wanted to make sure nothing else is at fault here.
To add to the mystery, the official card list on the nVidia download page lists all the cards from GF2 MX 100 (!) to the 7800, except the GF2 GTS.
So I downloaded the some older drivers from the "archive" section, and they work perfectly.... but I'm still wondering how come this card, which was the flagship of the product line at some point, is now left behind, while absolute pieces of garbage like the MX 1/200 are still supported ?!?
