I have never had a problem with my ATI Radeon 9700.

I have to pray everytime I install drivers. But this is on an all-in-wonder board. The normal versions are pretty good.

My Radeon 8500 had a fit before I added cooling. Couldn't handle basic 3D at all without overheating.

An 80mm fan blowing directly onto it cured the problem.

Meanwhile, my Ti4200 has no ramsinks and fares just fine.

9700 Pro here, only one problem with a game, updated the drivers, kept on trucking...

I heard that they cause systems to instantly self-destruct upon installation 😉 😀

I switched from Geforce MX420 to a 9500Pro and there seemed to be a conflict with the drivers. I tried everything and in the end just gave up and reformatted. After that, its been very smooth sailing, not even one crash of any sorts.

No problems with any of mine either.
I've never gotten them to work for me. Never had an issue with any of my GeForce cards, but I've never gotten any ATI cards to work for me or even like life for that matter.

I had an OEM Radeon 9000 Pro go bad on me within 6 hrs of running it.. but the replacement one seems to be running fine.

The retail 9500Pro is awesome... no problems so far.

I have an 8500 which I like... and other people say their new cards are fine too... a few driver problems here and there, but they have improved 10 fold.
