How soon can we expect to hear/retrieve all 3 black boxes??

I'm very interested in what those black boxes will reveal, assuming FBI will release the information to the general public?

Aside, anybody know what kind of material the black boxes are made of, how they work, how they record, and what their tolerance level is? Thx.

They've found the Pentagon blackbox, and I think possibly the Pennsylvania box.

Remember the ships that were made out of iron? Well, they tried to do it, and it sank.

i think the only ones that will take awhile to find are the ones at the WTC. the other ones they have found but one was too damaged or something.

from what I heard from the news, not sure if the source is 100% correct so don't quote me, but wasn't the one found in Penn. to be in good shape? However you want to interpret that, in good shape meaning data was recovered? Recoverable? How much of it was recoverable??

But my other question is, would the FBI release such information? Or will it remain a secret as part of their ongoing investigation, and only revealed at a later time deemed appropriate?

Most likely the two from the WTC were burned up, temps from all the burning jet fuel was too high for too long.

The voice recorder and flight recorder from the Pennsylvania crash and the Pentagon crash have been recovered.

The voice recorder on the Pennsylvania crash has been talked about on the news today. I have not heard the analysis on the Pentagon voice recorder yet. Maybe tommorow.

well, you gotta wonder about the WTC black boxes.. where they ejected, like the tire and the terrorist's body ? ..

i think that both of these black boxes for both of the planes were probably destroyed when the buildings collapsed.. but hopefully the other two black boxes will leave clues..

the news said that the one found near Pittsburgh was found in a 25 foot depression..

Oh yeah, my mistake, there should be 4 black boxes, not 3. The ones from Penn and Pentagon should be recoverable. What about the one from the 2nd tower that got hit? That building didn't stand for long, perhaps it survived the flaming when it fell to the ground and the fire from the heat wasn't as severe?
