Divide 30 by 1/2 and add 10. What is the answer?
70, (30 divided by 1/2 equals 60! Takes some thinking.....

30 divided by .5 is the same thing as 30 times 2.

I would have gotten that one wrong too, but I remember hearing this kind of question before. It's pretty tricky. 🙂

The other one that almost got me was the one with the pills. "How many minutes would the pills last?"

I was about to put 90, 30 minutes per pill, but then I figured the question meant "how many minutes would you have the pills for?" 😀

30/.5 is the same thing as 30x2 so thats 60 + 10 = 70. I didn't miss any, but I've heard most of them before

the trick to answering trick questions is to realize they are trick questions, then you can look for the trick and out trick the question

But what if the trick of the question was that the answer was obvious. Ah, but then what if the trick of the question was to trick you into thinking that the answer to the question was obvious, when it really wasn't.

People in my YAGT thread kept telling me that I overanalyze things, so I said for this test I will NOT overanalyze things I will just take things for face value, the result I got a 5 /11 🙁 thanks for the advice ?
