How should we celebrate my mom's birthday?

My mom's birthday is on Wednesday. My dad is thinking to have some flowers delivered to our home since she is a housewife. Dinner out somewhere... what else? Is there anything that you have done for your mom's b-day? She is in her lower forties by the way and sorry no pics.
 
My mom's birthday is tomorrow...but i'm working. She mentioned it today...and I felt back..but since I'm new at work, I'm stuck working the sucky shift. Maybe I'll bake her something nice before I leave for work...and write her a little card. bleh...stupid work. heh.

Great dessert like chocolate cake or ice cream
Buy her some DVD's to watch

Go to sleep so your mom and dad could get busy.
 
I'd go the insulting route and get her a coffin shaped cake. But that's just me. Dinner at a restaraunt sounds like a good idea.

Well my mom is 65,
you said your's is in her 40's,and i thought the Happy Puppy's idea was funny..
I bet my Mom would laugh her butt off..

If you can afford it hire a cleaning service,or a rug shampoo deal,
and buy her some nice flowers,
do you have room to plant some Rose bushes near your house?

Home Depot had some a couple months ago,i gave to my Mom,they were the Premium ones in a box
not the bagged ones,and they flowered this year,she was very happy.

Give her a gift certificate for a place she likes to shop.
Make her a card,not buy. 🙂

Kiss her,and hug her and say,
Thanks for all you do,and i forget to say Thanks,Mom!

Thanks for ideas other than the lapdance, hehe 🙂

I think we'll do some flowers, maybe a bush or two if we can find a place to keep them around our home, and I'll look into the rug cleaning. I think she might like that....
