Are you talking about how the actual speakers are placed around you, or some sort of software setup or optimization?

Ok so for software, I think it would be more relevant if we knew what soundcard you have. I don't think speakers come with software, but if they do what is it?

Well if you want the best experience in games, you will want to make sure 4 speaker mode or dd5.1 is selected when you play your games, that way, the game will output to 4 speaker mode when the information is there. I don't think having dd5.1 selected when playing a game is that important because most games don't use dd5.1. But I would make sure it is selected anyway. As far as speaker placement goes, make sure you try and have two front speakers on the right and left of you, one directly in the center (on top of the monitor works good), two behind you, and of course the sub on the floor. I think that should be pretty well optimized for games, dvds, music, whatever

...no, you see, theres also, a choice of optical, coaxial, and digital din....

well that all depends on how you're hooking up the speakers. Are you using the digital din to connect the speakers to the soundcard? Are you using a optical or coaxial connection to connect another source to your speakers? If so then choose accordingly.

...and then theres a input selection line in and digital din,...

I think that goes along with above. If you're using something that's going to your line in or connecting your speakers through the digital din then that should be selected. Didn't your speakers come with a manual or no? If so it helps to read it and learn what the terms means and what the connections do, at least that's what I would do first.

Well I got it to work perfectly for Max Payne, I've learned it depends on how the game was made, and how it should be set up for it. I picked fourpoint/5.1 Din for how many speakers are running. You don't chose anything from who your speakers are connected (what cable) just the input which is, in my case Digital DIN, and everything is running just fine, except it's snowing those white flickery dots but we won't get into that. I'll figure out later. Well thanks for you help, I know I was kind of annoying but I was determined. Anyway thanks again.
