How should I turn my 6.1 into a 7.1?

I currently have 6 Infinity Primus P363's and a BIC PL-200 powered by an Onkyo 809. Since Fry's only sold these in pairs, I went with 6, otherwise I probably would have just went with 5. Frys is now selling individual P363's for $100 and I'm thinking of taking the rear center with another speaker and creating a 2.0 in my bedroom.

What does ATOT AV&HT think about picking up a pair of Infinity P153's to be mounted in the purple position when they go on sale for $50 each? Or would I do better and spend ~$85 each for a P163's? I don't think there will be a problem with having 363's on the left and right, but if ATHT thinks so, I'll get rid of the back three and have 3 363's up front and 4 163's for the other 4.

Here is a picture of my current setup (red squares = 363's).

Personally I wouldn't bother. I don't think the improvement you will hear is worth it. I've demoed 6.1 and 7.1 systems and frankly I can't tell the difference from 6.1 unless it's a HUGE room and then only marginally. But to each his own.....:)

It doesn't look like a very deep room, I would keep the 6.1 setup myself :)
That said, nice subwoofer, I too have a BIC PL-200, and love it.

Haha, you guys aren't not seeing the real reason here. The opportunity to go from TV speakers in the bedroom to having 2 363's. :D

That, and every once in a while, some of the sound from the rear center bounces back from the front and it kind of disrupts the sounds of say planes/bullets flying by behind you.

If the PL200 goes on sale for 250 again, I'm tempted to get another so I can stack.
