I got the Acer 22 inch monitor for my wife, who has been pecking away on my 6-year old Inspiron 8100 and it's tiny 15 inch monitor.
But now the laptop is in the way of where I would set the monitor, and I don't want to spend $100 on a docking station for an aging laptop. Since she uses a separate Keyboard and Mouse and has a USB hub, she only needs to access the physical laptop to power it on. So does anyone have a suggestion on how I can set the laptop up so she has easy access to turn the laptop on but then have it out of the way?
The desk is L-Shaped with the corner piece of the desk having two legs, so you could put a tower in the middle below the desk and then a raised shelf above the desk, where you would set the monitor in front of you (Google is failing me and I can't find a picture).
Suggestions?
