How should I set this up? 2cdrom, 2hd all IDE

Hi, I was just wondering what is the best way you guys think would be the best way to set this up.


I have an Aopen Ax6bc .
right now i have this
IDE 1 , my primary master HD, and slave HD
two hard drives on the first ide port
on the 2nd ide port i have both of my cd-roms
my creative 48x as 2nd master and my 12x10x32x cd-rw as 2nd slave...
is this ok?
So far i can burn data at 12x fine and audio cd's at 8x..

could anything be improved by the way they are set up?

You should have the cdrw as the secondary master.

Looks fine to me.

As long as you have you HDs and your CDs on different ports, I think thats the general rule?

I have been told recently that CD-RW's should be secondary slave. I had trouble burning but now I set mine as secondary slave and I haven't had any problems since...just my $0.02.
