How should I set it up.

My case, right now at the back is a 120mm fan, it came blowing out, I have an 80mm side panel fan blowing in and another one inside blowing on the mobo, I also have the XP-90 with a panaflo high speed fan and the 120mm fan on my fortron blue storm blowing in. My question is should I have my 120mm one blowing in or should I keep it blowing out? If i make it blowing in then it will be blowing on the heatsink along with the 120mm on my PSU that is also aimed at the heatsink.

1st off, your psu fan is blowing in? Are ya sure? I say: 120mm rear>blowing out
80mm side >blowing in
90mmHSF >blowing down
PSU (unless you modded it) must be blowing out

general fan positions
your psu fan should blow out
the side panel fan should blow in
the front fan should blow in
and your rear fan should blow out

If you click on the picture of my PSU, it is impossible to have the fan blowing out.......it would either be blowing in or blowing up against the wall of my case

see?

This is how it is, the big fan is aiming into the case

Would I get better cooling if the 120mm was blowing onto the heatsink as well or?

That Blue Storm fan is sucking air in from your case and blowing it out the rear. Most often the most efficient airflow path is from front bottem (of your case) to the rear exhaust. Do you have a front intake fan mount?

if your psu fan is mounted like the one in that pic, then it isnt blowing air into your case. the back of that fan is facing towards the components inside the psu.

so when you put your hand under it you are either A) feeling the air being sucked INTO the psu B) feeling the air bouncing back off the components of the PSU (doubtful, but might be minor) or C) both.

this is how it is right now the power plug is on the top and the power switch is on the bottom...is this wrong? If I were to reverse it to look like in the picture then the fan inside would be blowing onto the top of the case, it would be right against the wall of it...

that picture doesnt show us how your fan is placed......take an inside shot of the psu fan.

and again...if your fan is blowing air into your case, its mounted wrong.

M it is mounted correctly and the fan in your psu is sucking air in and blowing it out the rear (via a 90 degree angle inside the psu). You are feeling turbulence (air going into psu) when you put your hand under the fan. You are fine so enjoy your BlueStorm.

Its funny how it went into this direction just by asking how the 120mm should be aimed 😀

It should be aimed the way you have it mounted. 🙂 Down towards the cpu.

Oh so I should reverse it and make it aim at the heastink? Right now the 120mm is blowing out...hmm maybe more cooling on the heatsink would drop temps.

Well reversed my 120mm fan to aim at the heatsink, lets see how it will pay off...but I was looking at my panaflo ''high speed'' fan....it didnt seem to go at high speed..is there a way to increase its speed or?
