Serious question. Here is the issue. Somehow a cockroach made its way into the urinal at work. The thing has been peed on all day and I was going to leave him there to die, because its just a cockroach. But then I realized, compared to other creatures somewhere, I could be seen as a cockroach.
So, I want to save him but don't know where to put him. I can't just put him on the bathroom floor. He will get stepped on. Should I put him outside? I've never seen a cockroach outside. I only see them inside, hiding in dark places.
Where should I take him? I need to act quick because he is getting weak. Where should I take him?

Fuck that roach. Spend your attention on spiders. They're also unloved, but unlike roaches, they're useful.

You never see them outside because they're good at hiding. If you can see them, then everything else can too. That's not good for survivalizing.

I understand what you are saying, and I wonder if I am genuinely insane for caring this much about a cockroach, but I really feel for the little roach. Its not my place to judge. I have a unique ability to help him, so I will. Where should I put him?

I'm off in 20 minutes and need to do something decent with him.

I'd split the difference, and squish him. That way you'll save him from getting peed on, but won't help perpetuate the species.

Pick him up with your tongue and cradle him in the warmth of your mouth to give him strength. Then take him outside, get down on the ground and let him leave your mouth when he's ready.

He's disgusting and I don't want to pick him up, not even with a tissue, but I will. I'm putting him outside. I'll post pics to let you in on the details of the rescue. I'm going in.

I wonder if it will be like that famouse video of a soldier releasing some mouse he caught and he's all happy as it runs away into the wild but then a hawk swoops down and scoops him up.

But seriously, unless you'd like to take it home and let it live in your walls and breed why try to save it? You're only giving it a chance to live in someone else's walls and that's not very nice.

Best thing is to just quickly put it out of its misery

Can you imagine if his boss walks in there while he's in the midst of rescuing this precious roach?

So you're saying that you have a repressed need to be peed on all day?

This reminds me of when we kept 2 madagascar hissing roaches in a cage on our toilet.
