How should I get rid of spam?

I'm currently using Yahoo! Mail and I've already used up all 500 of my allowed blocked addresses. I've turned on SpamGuard and it's set to delete spam once I recieve it. However, every day 1-4 spam e-mails manage to reach my inbox. It seems as if they are all from different senders, but sometimes I get a couple spam e-mails from the same sender.

Does anybody know of any techniques or programs that can block these e-mails and that work with Yahoo! Mail?

Have your own domail mail server and/or keep the address private. It's a public server and you will get spammed.
