Just got back from school, took a gelled pic. I mean.. it was windy as hell and the hair stayed normal. I still think it looks better than messy hippie hair.

Part down the middle looks bad.
Hard to see all the details due to lighting, but otherwise it looks similar to my hair. So I hope it doesn't look bad.
Yeah, I've noticed the hippie hair too. My brother in is high school. He had hippie hair for a year. Back when I was in HS, hippie hair was rare, and gel was pretty common...only 5 years ago.

Hah guys, why is parting down the middle so bad? Not too long ago, it was a very common style. If you have longer hair, you either part it down the middle, or part it like hitler. See, if my hair was longer, i would gel it backwards like the mafiozos do 🙂

No parts-down the middle. In all honestly, you shouldn't have a part at all.
You have long enough hair for the shaggy look. If you don't want to go with shaggy then cut it shorter.
Seriously, your hair style right now looks good on a middle-aged man, not a 15-year old kid.
