ok, ive got an asus a7n8x in an antec sx1040b-ii case..

im going to be picking up a barton 2500 soon...

first, are there any particular barton steppings that have become famous for overclocking? my friend has one he's running at 2.3ghz... seems stable..

second, i want to do some heavy duty overclocking.

im thinking thermalright slk900u with a loud 92mm fan.. noise wont really bother me 😀

another alternative im considering is a zalman ZM6548BC-Cu .. which one offers better cooling? im having a hard time finding reviews from the same site..

the third option is water cooling.. im really considering it.. can anyone recommend any really good quality water cooling kits?

thanks

not sure about the stepping of the Bartons, but if you don't
mind the noise that Thermalright is one of the best.

I have an A7N8X Deluxe mobo with a Barton 2500+ running at 2.0GHz in a Chieftec steel tower. I'm using an Alpha PAL8045 heatsink with an 80mm fan.
