How safe is Win 8?

What do you mean by safe? Safe as in it won't crash on you, or safe from such things as viruses and spyware?

im running it as main OS since Consumer Preview came out. Has bugs here and there but overall stable. I don't game on it, just photoshop and browsing/work

I think its mix something are safe and something are not.as compared to window 7.

It's really not that different from 7. Just more bloat and even less battery life. Dont know what they were thinking, but as far as safety is concerned t should be just fine. I'm sure it will get all the same security patches that 7 gets, because it is going to have most of the same security holes.

I think MSE is built into the OS now, so if you were just running a computer with that before, shouldn't be too different.

I recommend using Windows 8 while driving.. Very Safe.

It’s really hard to say whether it is safe enough or not. I personally am going to stick to Win 7 until I have a good reason to upgrade, I’m still not convinced of what the advantages of Win 8 are. Maybe you should check a review website like pcadvisor or geek.com to know in details about what people that have tried it think. Reviews can be very helpful.
