How safe is UltraVNC with the encryption plugin?

basically, would you connect to your home machine from a wifi spot to do personal banking like ms money stuff with the plugin?

I wouldn't, Wi-Fi isn't secured at all, no matter what the plug-in you use. Avoid using WiFi for anything very important, wired is better.

If the connection is encrypted then it shouldn't matter if you use wifi or not. The whole idea behind public key encryption is that it is immune to man in the middle attacks.
