How reliable is Asus Probe?

I've been using Asus Probe as my primary monitor for temps and voltages, but yesterday when I put in a different power supply, I got all sorts of voltage warnings, and at one point my cpu temp jumped up to 90c?!! (I checked in bios and temp was 40c).

The thing is, I swapped out that power supply for a different one, and all I get now is the occasional VCORE voltage warning when running Prime95. Anything to worry about? Motherboard monitor doesnt seem to support Asus P5B

I use AsusProbe on my ASUS rigs as a guide. It has been a great indicator of what's going on in my rigs.

I also have a Craftsman IR Temperature Sensor for those accurate temperature readings when in doubt. The AsusProbe is about 1C on actual readings, a safe indication for most.
When I'm unsure of a rig, out comes the Infra-Red Laser to get the spot temp.
