depending on how the previous owner took care of it, it can be really reliable or very problematic...

Not very. Unfortunately. Lots of problems. He doesn't post in OT much, but Corn used to have one and it was nightmares for him.

I've heard lots of issues of it in other forums as well.

Pretty much the case with all VW/Audi.

Sad, 'cause they make some gorgeous vehicles & great interiors/creature comforts.
