how real is ridge racer 7?

this game is addictive now!!!
all i want to do is meet corners.

how real is this is real life??? i thought there was downshifting n upshifting n braking....
so far, i only did what the tutorial said. first, turn into the direction. second, let go of the gas. finally hit the gas and choose the path. its so much more fun with the nitros!

not that im gonna try that with the Honda Accord sedan... but im curious.

there is a lot more to being real than merely including shifting and braking.. the latter being necessary for well.. gameplay

its not realistic at all. it's an arcade game, the Ridge Racer series always has been for the arcade racing fun.

Doesn't RR drive you through the turns on a drift too?

I love that game!!! no its not realistic, but is an AWESOME GAME! I now have the urge to play again, hit me up on PSN, my name is Randum, I'll go on after work, I love that game so much! Thats all i played when I got my ps3

its nothing like real life, dont ever try anything you can do in a game in real life. youll get a darwin award if you do.

on a serious note, its more arcade style physics, "slot car" racing.

no talking with ridge racer....which really is bad they don't BUT we can race tonight!! I will prob be on later like 9-10pm central , just look for me on the PSN when I sign in
