how readable is this?

It's clear, but not very readable.

the scan itself is free of blurriness and pot marks, but the font he uses is confusing and sometimes difficult to make out the letter.
 
Oh geez. Change the font and do the menu for him again.

I'm sure he wants it to look "exquisite," but there are many other fonts that can protray this.
 
Last time I sat down at a restaraunt and couldn't read the menu (because it was done in a terrible font like this menu), I got up and left.

It's OK if I don't understand the language (the server can always translate), but for pete's sake put the menu in a font that is legible!

well the other menu's are ok:

But the guy insists on handwriting at least one of the menu's every season. I can't imagine trying to order from this menu though. It's so painfull to read.

Much better! Those menu's look great to me! Tell the guy if he insists on writing things out looking that way, that he needs to go into medicine. 😛

I should know, my handwriting is sooo bad that my wife (a Registered Nurse) has told me that my writing is worse than a doctor's! :Q
