How rare is a LAMP Developer + NOC Engineer

About 6 years ago I was doing LAMP work with the NOC for WorldCom.

Overall though, I'd say it is asking for too much if you're also expecting them to be an expert in both.

I would say more expertise on the NOC side and be able to implement LAMP solutions...not actually develop them. Is this still asking too much?
