How Quiet is the Stock HSF Athlon64 xp3200?

as i posted earlier, i am using this motherboard.
CPU: http://www.ncix.com/products/i...OX&manufacture=AMD
Mobo: http://www.ncix.com/products/i...E&manufacture=ASUS

I bought the retail box for both, and apparently there's some Cool 'n Quiet technology that the processor supports, and so does the mobo. So my question is, does anybody know how quiet it really is? or even how quiet the stock fan that comes with the AMD is? Because i am looking forward to a quiet computer, not a loud one. And i wanted to just let you guys know i don't have plans of overclocking just yet, so overclocking isn't an issue, its just the noise.

coolnquiet is crap. all it does is half your processing power :l. I am using the stock amd hs /f my comp is quite loud, but i think thats my case fans + my x800 fan, the amd fan is not that loud...

I use the stock cooler on my system (3400+ Clawhammer) and it is very quiet. I have a near silent system and I can't hear the CPU HSF at all.

when you don't need it, genius. unless you think it takes 2 GHz to run email or word effectively.
