How quick does USPS Priority Mail tracking updates?

Based on delivery confirmation number.. I'm at work trying to figure how accurate the tracking is... once its delivered does the tracker online update pretty much immediately like ups and fedex? Also how about DHL? Thanks

Once when it's 24 hours into delivery, once 24 hours AFTER it's been delivered. the USPS tracking blows. It is totally not immediate.

It's not tracking... It's "Delivery Confirmation". If you want "Tracking" you have to move up to Express mail I believe.

Yeah USPS tracking is worthless, but the shipping is fast so it makes up for it. Usually it will say it will arrive in 3-5 days and it comes in 2 for me.

Delivery confirmation requires the PO to be honest.
The carrier indicates that he delivered it - not that it was delivered.

USPS and tracking should not be used in the same sentence. Pretty much all other carriers tracking systems are far superior to that of the USPS.

QFT...about 90% of my packages never are updated at all.

edit posted to fast...that if you call them they can always provide it...don't know why it doesn't get updated.
