How quick do danio fish gestate??

alright so I have this older danio fish in my tank, he looks lonely so like 2 weeks ago I buy a new danio for him to hang out with...now that new one looks like it's about to explode...it's belly is almost twice as big as the rest of the fish....wtf should I do with gravid fish?
 
Nothing, dont worry about. It will lay eggs, the other fish will probably eat them. Or the eggs will hatch, and the other fish will eat the babies.

Unless you want to breed it.
 
Yeah one of our danios got mega fat like that. No sign of any babies/eggs so i assume the others ate them 🙂
