How prepared are you for a disaster? Natural or not....

If something happened at this moment this is what i have

27 years old SINGLE MALE

Water - at least one week's worth
Food - 3 days to a week if i strech it
clothes - enough to last a lifetime
flashlight - i have 20 batteries for it
Radio - I DO NOT have a radio that is powered by batteries or hand =( maybe i should get one

GUNS - i gots lots em ARs, AK, HK91, handguns to fend off all 2 legged humanoid animals

 
I have the ultimate trump. A tire iron and the locations of government owned food and water supplies I can raid before anyone else....

Single, college senior.
 
I'm pretty prepared. I'm a 28 year old man in good physical shape so I'm not too worried. If I survive the initial disaster, I should be fine.

RO/DI unit, normally have around 50 gallons of purified water
hand crank radio/flash light
DE .50
Shotgun
Rifle
Enough canned food for a few months
Camping/cooking gear
Big knife
Generator
Firewood
large creek near me
enough grill gas and charcoal to cook for months.

34, live in the suberbs.

come to think of it, easily last a few months. As long as you have water and a means to hunt, you'll be fine.

I am. 25% prepared (food and water)
 
not prepared enough

39 , family, wife + 2 kids

have:

a couple days of water (plus enough in the aquariums for about another week if they will drink fish water 😀 )
food for 1-2 weeks
camp stove with enough fuel for about 1 week
gas fireplace, enough propane for about 1-2 weeks depending on how cold


not nearly enough!!

need to get a couple of guns too and a big fat diesel generator would be awesome, with 1000 gallon diesel tank
 
Well.. At college..i am pretty fuxored. but...at home...

We have 3 tubs of stuff i dont even know whats in them and those army meals
I would say 8 rescue kits that are full of non perishable food and those pills you take if you come in contact of nuclear radiation.
4 gas masks
a basement
bucnh of clothes of course
a power generator

We are set...this is all my dads doing.

I am 21 and a family of 4...plus two dogs.
 
I'm unprepared, but there is virtually no chance of any natural disaster (flooding, volcanic eruption, hurricane, tornado, earthquake...) occurring in my area. The chance of my country getting attacked by an enemy army or a terrorist group is irrelevant as well.

My arsenal consists of a screwdriver, two sawed-off Israeli rulers (measuring 33cm and 41cm), and five winchesters (2 Samsungs and 3 Maxtors).
 
fully stocked with water, food, radio, batteries, lights, charcoal, fluid, etc.

im in pensacola,fl so i make sure to be prepared every year since ive had a wife and 2 kids.

no need for guns that ive seen in the past storms weve been in (ivan and dennis being the most recent). no looting or any of that nonsense, just good neighbors being prepared.

I'm not that prepared personally, but in the case of disaster I'll be working and the government will have me covered.

hmm, 21 single. I'm at college and I only have one tennis racket and one crowbar to save my ass in case [looters/zombies/bill gates' clones/???] attack. I think the only thing going in my favor is a good stockpile of alcohol... if I'm gonna die, might as well drink up.
