How practical is wireless for business?

Wireless offers some nice advantages to traditional wired networks, but imposes a security risk. With the advent of WPA2 (WPA-AES), is wireless secure enough for business use? I've played around with my Linksys WRT54GS wireless router at home, using AES, turning off SSID broadcast, etc. It seems pretty secure - I personally haven't been able to get in from a hacker perspective. Is wireless ready for primetime?

I would say it all depends on how valuable the information is. If you can get sewed if someone obtains that information then I would stick with wired. HIPPA would be who I worried about if your avitar suits you career.

Yes, very acceptable for business use provided you provide the reliability/security.

It still can't hold a candle to a wired network.

I really like WPA2 and AES with my WRT54G as well. Using WEP I would be hacked all of the time and now it's never happened again. Even though I have had one key for the last few months.

As far as a business goes I would go the extra mile for RADIUS to minimize liability.
