why doesn't that surprise me? Bowie is a fine singer. A man who has real talent as opposed to, say, eminem.
lol, can't even post a sarcastic post without your crapping. Why doesn't that surprise me? Grow up already

Also, if u think eminem has no talent then yer just straight up an a$$hat.
He has talent but it doesn't compare to Bowies.

people are freaking stupid to think sarcam translates to the www...get a life, seriously

in his prime david bowie was really great...can't say the same for now though...i still listen to his stuff though

One of the few people I listened to as much as Pink Floyd. He and Brian Eno were constantly resonating from the speakers in my home or car. I don't doubt he could fill a stadium, if he promised to play a good portion of his classics. The lyrics from one of my lesser known favorites:
  • The Supermen

    • When all the world was very young
      And mountain magic heavy hung
The supermen would walk in file
      Guardians of a loveless isle
And gloomy browed with superfear their tragic endless lives
      Could heave nor sigh
In solemn, perverse serenity, wondrous beings chained to life

Strange games they would play then
No death for the perfect men
Life rolls into one for them
      So softly a supergod cries

Where all were minds in uni-thought
      Power weird by mystics taught
No pain, no joy, no power too great
Colossal strength to grasp a fate
Where sad-eyed mermen tossed in slumbers
Nightmare dreams no mortal mind could hold
A man would tear his brother's flesh, a chance to die
      To turn to mold.

      Far out in the red-sky
Far out from the sad eyes
      Strange, mad celebration
      So softly a supergod cries

      Far out in the red-sky
Far out from the sad eyes
      Strange, mad celebration
      So softly a supergod dies...
Still gives me the willies.
