How picky are A64 systems with regards to mixing memory brands and dual channel?

Say I have 2 512 MB sticks of Infineon memory in 2 DIMM slot running in dual channel mode.

Then I later buy 2 1 GB sticks of Samsung memory. Would I have problems using these to fill all 4 DIMM slots and having a total of 3 GB running in dual channel mode?

Is the A64 picky about mixing different memory brands?

They aren't really picky, it's usually the motherboard that doesn't like them.

I got 2 sticks of corsair 512 and 2 sticks of Geil 1GB to give a total of 3GB on my Asus A8N-SLI.

Works fine. Looks cool too having all the slots filled up as well.
