How overclockable are Buy.com OEM T-Birds?

Thinking about pickin up one of the 1 GHz T-Birds from there to go in my new Abit KT7A mobo. Has anyone bought one of these chips and OCed with it? I'm just tryin to make sure that Buy.com doesn't get some crappy chips that don't OC for jack.
 
well he probably means that some batches overclock better then others, (true) and was wondering if anyone recently got one from buy.com that overclocks realy good..
 
That is exactly what I was wondering... I.E. if anyone had purchaced recently and what week the CPU was and how far they got O.C.ing it. It seems like a pretty good price for the 1 GHz variety. Around $212 shipped, but there may be a cheaper place to get them. If so, would someone post their recent T-Bird purchaces and how OC-able they are. Thanks!
 
$212 for an OEM 1 Ghz TBird is overpriced, be OK if you have a coupon. You need to check again. BuyCom usually sells just boxed CPU's, what are you looking at? An OEM 1 Ghz should be about $180-190.
