Not really. There's fewer people doing outside stuff, so skin doesn't age as quickly as it used to. People are living longer, but that's medically enhanced, so I wouldn't count that.

BTW, that's something I really appreciated about the show Vikings. They did a good job aging skin in the later seasons to reflect a hard life outside. It was accurately mottled without going overboard with wrinkles.

Robert Shaw was a heavy smoker and drinker and died rather young at 51. So, yeah, has nothing to do with generations. Olivia de Havilland was born 11 years earlier than Shaw and shes still alive at 102!

I dunno...the older ones I've seen have hair that go white...not sure if that's from age or sun exposure. If they're covered in enough freckles and have white hair, you can guess they've hit their 30s....other than that, all bets are off.
