How old were you when your parents were born?

There is this theory in philosopy that an object has all the properties it will ever have at the time of creation. For instance if a desk is built in 1960 and in 1965 it has a big letter T scratched into it, theory says that when the desk was made, it already had the property of the scratched T in it. Wonder how this applies to people and births, etc?

Makes no sense to me lol. To me in 1965 it was scratched in. So if I have a scratch, than it means I have the properties of whatever I got scratched with? If I get a tattoo I have the properties of the tattoo, or not the tattoo because it has other things like ink in it.
