How old were you when you moved away from home?

I did'nt move out til shortly before I got married and I was 24 at the time. I was seriously home sick for a little while, my family and I were really close so it took a few weeks before I felt at home in the new place.

So what about you guys, when did you move out on your own?

I just moved into the dorms last semester at the age of 18, but I don't know if that really counts as moving out.

18, to apartment in college. Yes, very homesick.

I kinda wished I went away to college after high school. Have fun for me and drink a few :beer: in my place

I moved to college at 18, but I've spent my summer and winter breaks living with my parents. I was homesick for a short while after a month or so, but nothing too bad.

18, not really..in this day and age they are a cell phone call/IM/email message away, and only a 3 hr drive..i saw them about once per month my freshman year in college

Funny thing is that now that I'm almost 25 I've been thinking about moving back for a little while, it would be a change and save some money.

18, went to college, and spent most of my summers working away from home after that.
Never homesick, the freedom was most excellent.

Somewhere betwee 23-25.. i cant remember exactly.. but i was extremely homesick and i still get quite homesick.. or actually i feel left out since everyone still lives so close to each other except me. And when i try to call home and cant get a hold of ANYONE i feel really left out because that means they are all out doing something together
