How old were you when you bought your first house?

I was going to make a poll, but entering every possible age someone could have bought a house at didn't seem like too much fun. So, homeowners, please respond with your age at the time you bought your first place. Thanks :)

EDIT: Wow there were a lot of typos in that.

I was 25. I got a good deal after the oil bust in Oklahoma. It sold for $84,000 3 years earlier. I bought it for $42, 000. Ex has it now. :-(

Just this past week actually, I'm still 18, but not for much longer. Nice cozy home, on a plot of 2 acres, right outside any and all city limits, meaning no city property tax...very nice.

I will very likely buy mine in a few months right around my 27th birthday. I'd love to have had a house earlier but as I'm just finishing up my doctorate; however, a house is too expensive and too time consuming to maintain.

EDIT: I should add that while I thought I was making a mature and rational decision, there is a part of me that wishes I hadn't made such a huge commitment so early. 21-year-olds don't really need to be that mature and rational, and I think I missed out on some things by nailing myself to the ground like that.
