How old is your mouse pad?

I beleive this pad came with an old Compaq laptop that was handed down to me in 1994 suggesting that the computer itself was from at least a few years before.

The pad is old enough for the company that made it to put a logo and contact info on it, as if mousepad are something that you can't just get anywhere. I sent them the following email message:

"Can you help date my mouse pad? Its green fabric glued on black neoprene foam stuff, about 3/8 " thick. Only marks are your companies logo and contact info (no web address). The logo is a maze with green/yellow/red areas. WRitten info is: MOUSPAD by MOUSTRAK, INC. (707)963-8179 St. Helena, Ca."

yeah... I am a bit bored tonight. 🙂

Old enough to be teh sh1tz0r... it doesn't have any grip on the bottom and a lot of time in CS I'll die because when I make a quick movement the entire mousepad moves and by the time I can get just the cursor to move I die.

Before 98. I got it for free at a Lakers-Clippers game. It has a picture of Loy Vaught and the words "Slam Dunking, Baord Crashing, Fast Breaking, Gravity Defying" written on each of the edges (each phrase gets an edge). His last year with the Clips was 98. Had to be before that. Probably a year or 2 before, since he was in his prime around 96ish I think.

2001 Orange/Blue FUNCPAD, considering whether or not it's time to replace it.... with another orange/blue funcpad 🙂

mine was a christmas gift in 2002.

I'm probably going to be shopping for a new one soon, though. it has a shiny metal base, which has gone dull in the area where my wrist rests. and it's really cold during the winter. heh.

I dunno, I have an optical, and this is a dorm desk...I think the building was built in 1990.

96. The mouse pad that came with my copy of Duke Nukem 3D. I'll replace with the mousepad that comes with Duke Nukem Forever. 🙂
