how old is too old for posters?

my walls are looking sad and empty, but I can't quite bring myself to shell out the money to get my posters framed 🙁

(they're all original movie 1-sheet posters... not like dragon and rainbow posters from spencer's or something 😛)

depends. if they're in your basement with your poker table and your kegerator, they're fine.

what do you mean by your topic title? I'm having reading comprehension problems 🙁

Do you mean you think your movie posters are too old for standard room decorations?

While not cheap, just take the front wall, put a 90"+ screen on it and set up a projector 🙂

I think they'd be fine if they were framed, I'd just feel like a total dork with unframed posters in my living room 😉

I've got the original pre-release movie theater poster for Kill Bill that'd be great above my couch, but I'm pretty sure the thing would be hella expensive to get framed, since it's kinda large.

Yeah, frames are not cheap, but they do make posters look much more 'presentable'. How bout just buying frames 1 or 2 at a time?

Nobody hangs posters up on their walls anymore once they reach the age of (throws relatively arbitrary number out there) 20. If it's worth hanging on your wall, as an adult, it's worth framing...although, there are obviously exceptions to this rule ie people with Britney Spears' money and similar cultural background/upbringing.

I still have a "The Farrah Fawcett" poster on the wall in my office, dating back to the late 70's. She was really hot back in the day, but cancer and other of lifes struggles have not been kind to her. It's hell getting old 🙁.

it's half your age plus 7 for the minimum age you can date. As for posters, just buy cheap frames and frame them yourself.

I just ordered some nice framed National Geographic wildlife prints to decorate my bare walls, though I felt silly spending $125 ea. when i could have bought the prints for 1/3 that cost and framed them myself.
