I've been thinking of taking martial arts for a while but I haven't gone because I feel im to old already. I'm 21 soon to be 22.

So do you ATOTers think I'm to old and what age do you consider to old?

I'm 22 and have been studying Shoalin Kung Fu for about a year now. You are rarely too old to learn a martial art, just need to be willing to work at it. We actually have a few students at the school in their 50s.

martial arts are great for any age.. ..

Good work out routine, learn to defend yourself a bit and lotsa fun doing it!

Old people, young people, middle people.. anyone really thats my view

could also try something not for the little ones like kickboxing.. ..

started at 26, now 28 and still going strong.

I know folks who start at the age of 50+

you can never be too old :)

Thanks I'm thinking of taking Akido and might just do it thanks to your replys.

Do you recomend any art worth practicing? I don't like Kunf-fu because I heard thats garbage which really doesn't help in the real world. Do you agree?
