100 years I believe.

Traditionally an antique meant an item produces before 1840 and made by hand. Customs officials in most countires have deamed items over 100 years old to be antique and therefore duty free. It has recently come to mean any item of special value or of historical significance. To purists however the 100 year rule is still used.

It's age divided by 6 plus 13 minus 24. If the number is greater than 4 it's an antique.

used to be 100 years.. but when ppl started trading and selling, they realized that there was more money to be made if they could call stuff that was only 50 years old antique.

but 100 years is the true time frame.

Depends on what it is. For example here in FL, to get an antique tag for a car it's 20 years. However, to me it's about 100 years or so as well.
