How old do you need to be to have a car registered and titled in your name?

My dad brought this up to me considered that selling my 90 Cavalier is almost finalized. The kid I'm selling it to I know is definitely younger than me, but it brought up the question in the subject. Anyone know anything about this?

California=18. At the age of 18, in CA, you are an adult.

Non-adults can't make binding legal decisions.
