In New York you must be 18 to purchase but I don't believe there is miminum age to posess one.

I don't believe there is an age limit to own one, but you have to be 18 to buy one. I had one when I was 12.

- 75 lb compound bow with broadheads
- Several BB/pellet guns

In Oregon there's no minimum age to own, but there is to buy.
