How old are you, and how much are you willing to pay for a video card?

17 and probably around $350, $400 would most likely be the absolute max, unless I was splurging on some kind of awesome gaming machine that would be outdated within the year.

35. with a mortgage, pre-school, real-estate taxes, groceries, car insurance, etc., i'd be willing to pay a max of $150. i usually buy used so that i get more performance for my buck.

25 and no more than $200 CDN. Most I ever paid was $350 CDN for an ATI All in Wonder Pro (with the rage pro chip) it was great for video and TV on the PC but it sucked at 3D and ran really hot. I would never spend more than $200 now becuase my ATI onboard video plays all my games just fine (I hate shooter games).

43 in a few months... $200.00 is the most. but only if i were really desperate for it.

i dont need one, have plenty... so, right now, nothing.

23. Less than $100, but probably less than $50. The only reason why I would care for a decent video card is for DVI output and high resolution. But even crappier cards can do that nowadays.

21 here, i payed 350 for my X800 Pro, but im never gonna do that again.

It was a spur of the moment thing.

Do you really need a X800 Pro for MAME?

You better believe it I need my capitalist pig crushing to be highly detailed

That's one helluva poll you got going there. I'm 23 and quite honestly, the amount that I'd spent would purely be dictated by my bank account. But reason suggests $200-250 so I don't have to upgrade again in 3 months. wait, that's inevitable. (Still running a 9800 Pro)

22, and 200, 250 on a rare occasion. This also takes into accoutn any funds I might have from selling old card, so I guess up to 450?

I'm 15, and I would spend about $300-400 on a video card. I need one that runs everything flawlessly for the next 2 years, and then once newer games after start coming out I think about buying a new one. My BFG6800OC is still owning games.
