How often will a baseball team change their bats?

I know that they go through something like 60 balls in a game, but what about bats? Or do they last multiple games? Just curious is all.

i think each player has a few bats that they use, tweaked to their preferences...cant imagine them using more than 1 in a game unless it cracks or breaks

From what I've read most guys will go through 2-3 a week. Sometimes you'll face a pitcher who's really on his game though and he'll saw through half a dozen in a night.

I worked for a minor league team and was in charge of their equipment, and they will usually only get rid of a bat if it breaks. If it's still in one piece, it gets put back in the bat rack for tomorrow. Of course, each player has close to a dozen bats in the rack at any given time, so they might just choose another one for the next day's game. But, there is no set rotation, changing things up every few days or anything like that.
