how often should i swap out my shower towel?

But I usually hold myself to 3 or 4 dries with one clean towel.

if you are anal, like most of the population here, just change it after every shower
who was the guy that had a routine for drying himself off to avoid butt to towel to face contact?

mine sits far away from the toilet and hangs over a vent, so i can go over 2 weeks w/o the need to change it

people who change after every shower are insane... you are wiping off clean water and letting it air dry, same as if it came out of the washer and you hung it up to dry!

I try to change at least once a week. As soon as it looses the downy smell (ahhh...) then It's time to wash that one a grab a new one.

well a shower towel aint that dirty afterall, since u use it to wipe yourself dry right after taking a shower.

As long as you're cleaning yourself good, I'd say until it smells funny. It's going to last differently depending on the climate/ air circulation and density of the actual towel and stuff. Wiping the water off your skin with your hands before towelling down helps as well.
