How often does nvidia release new drivers?

If your talking about betas then there must be a new one every week.

Offical ones are every 1-2 months as aggressor said.

It also seems "offical beta's" are also only updated every month or so.

NV's offical drivers are on a 2 to 3 month time table usually, not 1 to 2 months. In some cases, they've stretched to almost 5 months between official updates. As long as they leak the betas though, people are happy.

Not very.

I don't understand why they are so inconsistent, or why there are more "beta" releases than officials.
It's almost like they don't want to take any responsibility for their own drivers, so they just leak teh betas...

I much prefer ATi's once per month system...though they have their own issues...CCC, argh.

I don't think I've installed an official Nvidia Driver in months. I've just use the Xtream-g nvidia beta's.

With good reason....look at the release notes sometime (for ATi's cards).

Let's not get into that argument

I quite vividly recall nVidia failing to fix the A64 + DEP + nVidia Forceware UT2k4 BSOD issue for half a year. Half a year for a hugely popular game...how exactly does that work? 😕

Both companies have their fair share of issues.
