Also is the Nvidia 7300 worth the extra 43 bucks over the X300. I prefer NV myself, but don't know much about those low end models to know which is better. This will nto be used to play heavy graphic games, so they don't need a powerhouse. But I want them to be able to play the crappy little games they do play.

So good deal, any suggestions?

Also why is the Intel 630 3.0Ghz more expensive then the 820 2.8Ghz dual core. I mean I know its 200Mhz faster, but wouldn't the dual core pretty much make up for that?

Unless your aunt games, then don't bother with the video upgrade.

17" LCD FTW.... will they let you add that?
And it doesn't provide much HD space, but you can add more later.

Other than that is is a nice price!

I will ask her about the LCD, but I doubt they will care about the size. They are currently use a 15 or maybe 17" CRT, so it would be even or even better then what they have now.

What kind of warranty does the refurbished unit have?

I'm not a big fan of turbocache, I'd stick with the x300. It looks like a good deal.

How old is your aunt? I really like 17" LCDs, but if she's old enough for eyestrain or whatever to be an issue, the extra few bucks for 19" would be worth it. Just about everyone I know over 40 with an LCD smaller than 19" is running it at a smaller, non-native resolution for comfort, and they all look like crap;)

Standard 90 day warranty
Dimension 4700
Dimension 5150
Dimension E510

1 year On-site
Dimension 8400
Dimension 9100
Dimension 9150
XPS 200
XPS 400

However, all of them can be upgraded (warranty) once you add them to cart. After midnight is the best time to look. Try 30 minutes and 40 minutes past the hour, those are the drop times, and when the best deals will be there.

Damn, that is a hot deal with a 19in LCD. $29 shipping plus tax made it a hair over 400. They are even offering a 1YR warranty instead of 90 days like they normallydo.
