How often does ATOT enter into your everyday conversations??

It happens way too often for me...
Someone will be talking to me about something, I'll reply to them, and they just look at me incredulously as they ask, "how did you know that?"

A lot of the time, it'll be some news story that they just heard the headline of; as obscure as the story is, I'll be able to give them all the details..

Another question: how do you credit the source of your information when they ask you??
I just usually say "oh, a guy I talk to online on a tech forum was talking about this the other day."

Way too often. I'm married to an OTer and one of my friends who I run into all the time is an OTer (I met them both on here) so stuff comes up all the time. My family and coworkers are all familiar with OT because it enters my conversations so much. :disgust:
