How often do you use your iPhone?

I'm waiting for my computer and laptop back anyway I am using iPhone for web surfing play game texting email for about 8 hours or more a day but I feel that the iPhone get little hot and lose wireless signals often is it normal or what?
 
The loss of wifi seems to be something that came with the 3.0 fw, and I believe was (supposedly) fixed with 3.1 which I haven't updated to yet. The phone gets a bit warm but never too much. I mean it's a full blown computer browsing the web in a compact small device... so it's going to produce some heat.
