How often do you type up a post and then decide to cancel?

It seems that more and more, I type up a response to someone and then say fvck it, why am I posting. For example, I was about to cancel this but I posted it.

I do it all the time. I must be pretty damn self-conscious of myself and lack confidence in my speech, because I've probably done that a thousand times.

Pretty often, actually. Sometimes it's just not worth the effort to keep up with your posts.

normally that only happens to me on an OP, not a response, you don't get close to 25K by chickening out

I often type something...
And then I read it and it just doesn't sound right...
So I don't post...
...
I also try to have quality over quanity...
...
For instance I erased this line and revised it twice...

Out of about every three I type up, only one actually gets posted. After reviewing the contents, I see that my post won't actually contribute much substance to the discussion and I just cancel it.

I do this A LOT. Sometimes, one will slip by and I'll end up with a one-week vacation.
